In the News...
Congratulations to all Sunset Cliff horses/riders on
a successful showing at the 2009 Zone Finals!
Vicki MacNaughton swept the A/O Hunter finals taking home both the Champion
(on Solitaire) and the Reserve Champion (on Palermo) prizes. Colleen
McKenzie's mount, Castello continued the streak by taking home the Reserve
Champion ribbon in the Pre-Green Hunters (ridden by Sunset Cliff Trainer Ginny
Joyner) and the 4th place ribbon in the Children's Hunters. Last (but not
least), Vicki MacNaughton and Lenardo took home the Reserve Champion ribbon in
the Junior/AO Jumpers. (Vicki chose not to compete on Zar Zagano and
Bonified).
Several horses from Sunset Cliff Farms qualified for the
2009 Zone 7 finals to be held in Katy, TX this year.

September 18, 2008 - Washington International Horse Show
The qualifying lists are up and the cut-offs were VERY high this year
but Vicki MacNaughton and Studio 54 have qualified for the Large Junior Hunters,
16/17 and Vicki MacNaughton and Sonduetta have qualified for the Small Junior
Hunters, 16/17. Congratulations to 'the team'!
September 16, 2008 - Pennsylvania National Horse Show
Congratulations to Vicki MacNaughton on qualifying 3 Junior
Hunters for the Pennsylvania National Horse show. Both Studio 54 and
Palermo have qualified for the Large Junior Hunters, 16/17 and Sonduetta has
qualified for Small Junior Hunters, 16/17 as well as Second Year Green Hunters.
Peter Pletcher will continue riding Sonduetta in the Second Years.
August 18, 2008 - Current World Championship Hunter Rider Standings
Congratulations to Vicki MacNaughton who is currently ranked 6th in the
National World Championship Hunter Rider standings (for Juniors).
